Changes to the NIC Recursive DNS Server Configuration

On 22 November 2023 after 23:00, we will change the configuration of the NIC-maintained recursive DNS server’s DoH and DoT encryption. The root CA of the SSL certificate will be changed from Let`s Encrypt CA to ZeroSSL CA.

The users who have configured the DoH server (doh.nic.lv) in their browser will not be affected as the new CA certificate is included in the browsers.

Changes may impact users of MikroTik devices. In such case, users will need to manually import the new CA certificate. Please see how to do it: video
